Pick a side: Radical Islam vs Civilisation

Where Israel = Civilisation....

Have you seen this? The ‘killer blow’ to silence a thousand internet discussions about the slaughter in Gaza? Where someone has been expressing sympathy for starving children or outrage at those same children being riddled with gunfire as they queue for food? And then suddenly a lonely hero somewhere in keyboardistan decides to pull back the curtain and reveal what you’ve been too stupid to understand, to show you what this Israel Gaza thing is really all about…

WTF? Choose between what and what..?

Wasn’t this debate about kids in Gaza with malnutrition, without access to healthcare or shelter? About the hunger, starvation, the blockade? How the so called ‘aid distribution centres’ are breaking all international norms? That there’s been so many international rules and laws of decency broken by Israel that there’s none left?

Can’t someone get the discussion back to that? To the need for mercy? For an end to horror? No is the firm response. Because right now, if you aren’t with Israel then they say you are against Israel’s existence. And if you are against Israel you are wittingly or unwittingly supporting the destruction of Western Civilisation. It’s that simple, they reckon.

And before you ask: no - there’s no middle ground according to these ideologues.

That’s right - you have to pick a side. Because the refugees - the women, children and men who climb into dinghies to sail across the Mediterranean - are in fact a highly trained and equipped advance military espionage unit (Mossad would never think of trying anything as audacious as this). Their sole purpose? To honour The Prophet by collapsing western civilisation and replacing it with a caliphate. Wait!? Are you so blinkered by your liberal Western Privilege that you can’t see this obvious truth?

Have you been so taken in by insidious Palestinian propaganda that you don’t recognise the malign evil that threatens not only the beleaguered, honest-broker, good-faith-actor, never-ever-done-wrong, it’s complicated so just trust us, love and peace to all, we were here first, expanding settlements ain’t the problem, why is everyone so anti-semitic (including so many damn jews) State of Israel?

Then perhaps someone is foolish enough to point out that there’s four million Muslims living in the USA and it seems to be going pretty ok. That the biggest threat to democracy might be the orange guy who thinks January 6th was a good idea.

Or maybe someone else will kindly point out that Europe too has taken in millions of refugees (Audible Gasp!!!?? The brown people in the dinghies weren’t all raving radicals?!) fleeing hellscapes and that - WAIT FOR IT - no nation state in Europe has fallen into jihadist induced anarchy!!??? Not even one itsy bitsy state like Liechtenstein? No! Not one.
